Solomon Bililign’s Impact on Aerosol Physics
Solomon Bililign is an atmospheric and laser physicist whose research has advanced global understanding of aerosol chemistry. A distinguished professor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, he is widely recognized for his pioneering work in laser spectroscopy and for developing innovative techniques to study atmospheric particles that influence human health. Bililign has led major research initiatives funded by Sloan Foundation and other scientific agencies, contributing vital data on biomass burning emissions and the behavior of aerosols in Earth’s atmosphere.
