Mulugeta Bekele, Ethiopian Physicists

Dr. Mulugeta Bekele is an Ethiopian scientist who studies theoretical and applied physics, particularly nonlinear dynamics and chaos, stochastic resonance, and organic solar cells. 

He believes in human rights advocacy and has worked tirelessly to protect civil liberties and freedom of expression. Mulugeta was involved in democracy-seeking rebel groups in the 1970s, when the Ethiopian monarchy was overthrown by the Derg military Administration.
